The median price for homes in all of Dana Point has risen 56% from January 2012 to October 2018, from $575,000 to $1,000,000. The trend in prices overall has wavered slightly during this period, with an overall rising trend. The median price rose by 4.3% during 2017.

After the peak of $1,000,000 was hit in October 2018, the median price for Dana Point homes dipped slightly to $960,000 in mid-2019.
